The most commonly used route starts in Aiud, at the roundabout near the Aiud Citadel, on County Road DJ 107i (Transapuseana), heading toward Brădești, covering a distance of 27 km. Once you arrive, you can safely park your car near the church (or continue only if you have a 4×4 vehicle with tires suitable for forest roads). From here, you’ll begin the marked hiking trail with a blue cross — Brădești to Cheia village which is approximately 5 km long.
The nearest train station and bus terminal is in Aiud, with good connections from major cities. From there, we can provide transfer to the village of Cheia upon request (170 lei for 1–2 people). The journey takes about one hour, following a route that combines paved road and forest track. Large luggage is not a problem. You’ll arrive comfortably, right in the heart of nature – directly at our location.
